Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ programme has been running in Ireland for over 18 years. It is a global programme that is run by EY in over 60 countries, across six continents. The programme aims to acclaim Ireland’s most successful entrepreneurs. Each year, entrepreneurs throughout Ireland are invited to enter one of three categories: Emerging, Industry and International. Following interviews and a judging process, 24 entrepreneurs are shortlisted in April every year. Awards are presented for each category, and an overall winner is announced as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™. That person will go on to represent Ireland at the World Entrepreneur of the Year awards in Monte Carlo each June.
